Objective: Encourage someone that looks discouraged
Meditate on this: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house" Matthew 5:14-15
"As iron sharpens iron, so on man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
Agent Christ Follower: Today when you are at school I want you to think about a few statistics. Did you know 1 oout of 4 of your classmates have thought about killing themselves. And 1 out of every 10 will actually try it. Stop. Read that agin. If this is the case, the that means that most likely 3 students in each one of your classes is going to attempt suicide at least once in their lifetime. Wow. Satan is clearly trying to steal kill and destroy people's lives and today you are going to fight aginst his plan!
Today I want you to pray that God would reveal to your heart somebody that is lonely or hurting inside. Find that person and encourage their heart! Tell them how amazing they are and the gifts that you see in them. Invite them to church. Do whatever it takes for them to walk away feeling good about themselves.
